Cara Membuat Cover Letter dalam Bahasa Inggris
Selamat pagi mas mbak yang berbahagia, kali ini CDA ITNY bawain informasi terkeren nih,
mas mbak ketika akan melamar suatu pekerjaan pastinya menyiapkan surat lamaran ya, dalam bahasa kerennya sih COVER LETTER
Lalu, apa aja sih yang perlu kita muat dalam COVER LETTER?
COVER LETTER ?
Faktanya, surat lamaran itu adalah langkah awal untuk “mengungkapkan” antusiasmu terhadap suatu kesempatan kerja baru dan untuk mengungkapkan keinginan mas mbak kepada pewawancara. Surat lamaran yang baik akan memotivasi pewawancara untuk memberikan mas mbak kesempatan pada pekerjaan tersebut.

Jangan hanya menggunakan satu template! Tulislah surat lamaran dengan kata-kata mas mbak sendiri. Buatlah setiap surat lamaran spesifik dengan pekerjaan yang mas mbak inginkan dan perusahaan yang mas mbak akan lamar. Cieee… yang mau lamaran….
Namun, mas mbak harus menyertakan beberapa elemen di dalam setiap surat lamaran / cover letter yang mas mbak tulis yaa…

Pada cover letter cetak, tuliskan informasi kontak mas mbak pada bagian atas, sedangkan jika melalui email, tuliskan alamat dibawah tanda tangan mas mbak.
Tuliskan tanggal dalam surat cetak. (January 17, 2017)

Tujukan surat mas mbak kepada orang yang sedang melakukan perekrutan. Hubungi perusahaan dan mintalah nama mereka.
Salutation
Salah satu keluhan terbesar para perekrut adalah “To Whom it May Concern.” or “Dear Sir or Madam”.
Untuk itu, pastikan gunakan nama mereka
First Paragraph
Tarik perhatian pembaca dengan kalimat pertama mas mbak.
Selalu utamakan kepentingan utama pemberi kerja! Cobalah untuk tidak memulai surat dengan kata “I” (saya). Ingatlah, mas mbak ingin menunjukan kepada pemberi kerja bahwa mempekerjakan mas mbak adalah demi kepentingannya dan kepentingan mas mbak.

Mulailah dengan menceritakan apa yang membuat mas mbak mencari posisi spesifik tersebut.
Ceritakan pula pengetahuan khusus tentang perusahaan dan alasan apa yang membuat perusahaan harus menerima mas mbak.
Hal ini tentu saja bisa menarik ketertarikan pembaca.
Buatlah cover letter spesifik dalam setiap aspek, dengan hanya menyoroti kualitas terbaik mas mbak yang dapat diberikan untuk perusahaan “X” pada posisi yang mas mbak cari.
Ceritakan secara tepat, dalam satu atau 2 paragraf, bagaimana kemampuan mas mbak memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan dan bermanfaat bagi bisnis secara keseluruhan.
Tunjukan kepada perusahaan bahwa mas mbak tertarik untuk wawancara dengan mereka.
